I don’t like certain things that Manchester United sometimes end up doing to be honest.
Remember that they brought in Paul Pogba for a huge amount of money? That did not work out as a good value for money.
Paul Pogba at least wasn't a total failure, yet he doesn't deserve the amount of money spent on him. Manchester United don't have a problem about risking their money for what they feel as a good player.
They brought in Harry Maguire for a record amount of money. And we all know that transfer turned out to be a meme factory. But looks like they are never going to learn from their mistakes.
Now that was a total failure, a joke, the worst thing that could happen to any team. Harry Maguire could be considered the player number 12 in the opponent side while Manchester United play with 10. His devotion to failing his teammate is extraordinary!
I don’t know what was the exact negotiations but wasn’t it possible to bring him for less money? Or maybe Manchester City is more interested in making record with the amount of money they spend because they cannot make records with the amount of trophies they get, lol?

Manchester United won many trophies in the past thanks to its good management from the coach and staff, otherwise City recent investment and management drove the team to win additional Cups including Champions League ones.
