Buying Solana Coin is not a bad idea, because all market is down, and we are all experiencing Bear market for months now and Solana Coin price is on a particular range as the market is fluctuating is good to buy while make a good entry point before buying and is good for long term holding investment as you mentioned as a profitable return investment.
the thing is that, solana massively losing its value for the simple fact that there may be rumour about solana downfall caused by ftx collapsing which I guess just make it rather difficult for it to get back up.
if solana was related to the funding of the ftx investment then I guess it would hard to climb back up again its former price unless ftx realised its rumoured recoveries.
nowadays I just don't think that solana will be that great.
I think if i have the money to invest i'd just instead invest in other coin after all many potential coins out there.
