The last news I read was that Tottenham rejected the last bid by Bayern for Harry Kane. Yesterday they said that this was their last bid to get the English player, but in fact, their negotiations are still ongoing to date.

Even Bayern's seriousness in getting Kane as a replacement for Lewandowski can really be seen from the efforts they have made so far. The transfer season has been going on and is almost over, will they continue to focus on Kane or instead turn to take other alternative players? If negotiations are still ongoing but Tottenham seem tough to let go of Harry Kane, then it could be that Bayern really don't have a chance to get the striker.
