In the second match I thought India would keep their senior players in the squad. And they will make a comeback. But India kept their squad unchanged. And as usual we saw poor performances from the batsmen. India managed to collect only 152 runs after losing 7 wickets in the second match. It wasn't enough to win. If the performance of the Indian bowlers was good, they could have won. But the bowlers did not bowl well either.
In the third match, we will probably see several changes in the Indian squad.
We don't know what is their plan actually. I guess they are trying to set a young team or they take West Indies lightly as they were able to beat them in both ODI and the test series. If 2nd reason is the case, then India should not forget that West Indies always was a good team in T20I format.
Even though West Indies did not win the T20I series in recent times, still they can beat any team on their day. Nicolas Pooran is in good form and he alone handled the matches. I will for today's game.
India won the Test series very well. But India's performance was not good against West Indies in the ODI series as well. Especially their batsmen's performance was poor. After the poor performance in the first two matches, they did not bring changes in the squad. However, the Indian batsmen batted brilliantly in the third match. They won the match by 200 runs. It was a great comeback.
After losing the first T20 match, perhaps the Indian management thought they would make a comeback in the second match. But the team could not perform well in the second match and was defeated. I am not satisfied with India's batting and bowling performance.
Tilak Varma has played well in the Indian squad and Pooran has performed well in the West Indies squad. Also, no batsman's performance was regular in the last two matches.
