Banks are safer, and in some countries deposits are guaranteed by State, even if the bank closes. So first or essential investment (in order to save money for a life project for example) should be in a bank account.
Then, if you want to invest more, cryptos offer better earnings, but with the risk of losing more capital. So don't invest in cryptos what you can't afford to lose.
