Re: Mistake that prevented your big win.

So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.

Greedy is basic human nature, nothing is wrong with that. I ever in the past when didn't take advantage of the opportunity so that make it all gone. what we can be done this is how to manage it. The meaning is, we should not do the same thing again in the future. So when we have the same situation again, we should be as much as possible to control it. I know $1200 is big money, who doesn't want to get big winning, but if the reality is we only can have chance wins of $200, there is no harm if only take that $200 only.

That's a problem for most since not all the time we can control ourselves. There is a time that we are too aggressive and wanted to win more especially when we got the momentum already without thinking that the next bet will be our unlucky bet. That is why I would say that most gamblers usually can never take home big winnings. This is how gambling works, we can win at this time but can't think that we can win all day and this is because luck never stays long for us.

Once you have started experiencing streak of winning the whole process plays in your mind and your head like an event that is going to continue happening because that thought of you actually lossing never plays in your mind and I bet that even after you pause for sometime you will surely go to try and win more which is why gambling seem somehow irritating especially when all those luck have ran out of you.

I can't remember the last mistake I made that prevented my winning in gambling other than betting wrongly, certainly not greed because I've overcome that in my life a long time ago. However, this doesn't stop me from knowing the mistakes people around me make while gambling, and it's certainly greedy, while some are afraid or confused at some certain stage. All these could be encompassed into emotion, we have to avoid that by being calculative and disciplined. And for those who do sports betting, they try to lump their odds together so that they can win big instead of lumping little to win small or bet independently, but they end up gaining nothing.
