what even happened towards ethereum i don't have any idea, if you're talking about the fact that ethereum have high gas fee then rest assured such thing won't happen to BNB.
currently BNB is quite shaken with the fact that binance is getting a lawsuit, after all the overall performance of BNB truly dependant on binance itself as a platform.
recently it has gotten quite the rise in terms of value with the fact that there are quite many good projects launching in binance that utilises BNB for subscription towards the project itself.
so far nothing serious really occurred that affects binance, therefore BNB still somewhat left unscathed, only some small downs.
Ethereum has struggle with next big development such as WEB3 but they make it. Same thing as struggle with BNB is Binance lawsuit. At the end they will make it. They need also to make bigger security tools for hackers,clever guys. I myself lost BNB in my crypto wallet so i know from first person.
