Even though Kane is one of the good enough strikers, it does not mean Bayern are weak when they fail to get Kane from Tottenham.
They are still one of the favorite clubs even with their dominance that will not change even without Kane in the squad.
Their new players showed quite good things in some friendly matches conducted, on the other hand of course Tuchel will also do some things that will be different from Bayern last season.
But this is only talking about the Bundesliga because Bayern's domestic competition is still Bayern although with the current squad I doubt in the Champions League but for domestic competitions I am still very confident with them.
There weren't really many changes in the team and what can Tuchel actually change or do to make the team much better than last season. When they changed the coaches from Nagelsmann to Tuchel, that was the first time when I was surprised and wondered what the heck they are trying to achieve with that change. Tuchel is the same kind of coach and the differences between him and Nagelsmann are rather nuanced than fundamental. A highly efficient and dangerous offensive player was missing, which was also no surprise since Lewandowski was gone and Choupo-Moting isn't quite the player who wins titles for a team.
They are always the favorites in the Bundesliga. I don't what could happen such that anyone would think they are not the favorites. Maybe when five key players at the same time break their legs like Manuel Neuer. Domestic competitions haven't been enough for Bayern for a very long time and coaches have been fired after they won the DFB Cup and the Bundesliga. They want the Champions League title again, which is good, but they aren't doing the things needed to get the team back to the strength level of 2013 or 2020.
