Bayern Munich was tempted by a sizable amount of money selling Yann Sommer to Inter Milan and this was a financial advantage for Bayern Munich but on the other hand it also had a bad impact on the loss of a goalkeeper they could rely on, the biggest mistake was selling Yann Sommer Bayern Munich did not first look for a replacement goalkeeper before agreeing to sell Yann Sommer with Inter Milan.

But the fact that De Gea is currently an agent makes him an attractive option for a short term solution. But Bayerns plans are further complicated by the sale of Sommer and the uncertainty surrounding Neuers return.
Despite Sommers performance during pre season Neuers absence raises doubts about the rationale behind selling Sommer. I think in these uncertainties, in the goalkeeper position it seems logical for Bayern to consider De Gea as their best choice available.
Neuer has no real certainty about his return as Bayern Munich goalkeeper considering he hasn't fully recovered and has had some training but there is still a bit of difficulty kicking the ball and to move nimbly in stopping every attack on goal.
But it was only a few hours ago that I saw rumors circulating that Bayern Munich also have another option by using Sven Ulreich as caretaker goalkeeper to fill the void.
But the choice to use Sven Ulreich as a temporary goalkeeper I think is not quite right because last season Bayern Munich already has a reliable goalkeeper so that he can become the strongest for the Bundesliga and if Sven Ulreich becomes a temporary goalkeeper I am not sure Bayern Munich can survive enemy attacks that are not expected.
What's more, Dortmund is also a club that performed quite well in the Bundesliga last season with a very sharp attacking game and even the points difference was very thin with Bayern Munich because the two were competing strictly against each other.
The only best option is to bring in De Gea as the main goalkeeper until Neuer returns from the injury he has experienced.
