I always thought of him as the kind of player who chases money, the kind of player who acts selfish on the pitch, but I didn't see that in the last season, so there was a feeling that he had changed, but apparently not. The SPL money that was offered to him he rejected probably for one reason, because going to this league now when it is just in the development stage is not a very sensible decision.
A couple of hours ago there were rumours that he will stay at PSG until his contract expires, but as we can see - the situation around him and the club management is terrible, he was suspended from games
It won't end for a while and there will be news everyday about it I guess, but regarding his selfishness, I think he is still a great player and what sets him apart from some other super talents who could be world class is that he is usually not injured and he scores a lot. But imagine he wouldn't have all this hysteria around him, which he is also to blame for, he could already be of a different, much better status. He is covering up his quality as a player with the problems that are all about money.
