What is Bitcoin trying to solve? The answer is - problems with centralized banking systems and fiat currency. So we can say that fiat and Bitcoin hold two different meanings. How did criminals do crimes back in the day, when there was no such thing as Bitcoin? They used currency that was available back then. What was it? yes, it was fiat money. Or valuable things that have value. Just for that reason, can we call money the reason for crime? No one calls it that and no one ever will.
