The XTRABYTES team, with the development headed by Borzalom, is working hard to finalize the new network and allow the launch of the SWAP soon. We are currently very far ahead of the total progress required before we can proceed with the SWAP.

The ESPDS network, which will constitute the main infrastructure, is operational with a first basic version already allowing communication between peers.

This minimum version will be sufficient to carry out the SWAP.  The few remaining steps will continue to be developed in parallel after the launch of the SWAP.

Testing and debugging on the isolated ESPDS network has so far been conclusive. However, additional tests and corrections will be necessary once connected to the ecosystem internet network.

Other essential components of the new ecosystem such as configuration file management, debug logs, unit tests, are and always will be under development in parallel.

The implementation of the XOTS signature and its chain are 100% finalized. The minimum interoperability between the different blockchains of the new ecosystem is estimated at 10-15% progress, sufficiently necessary for the SWAP.

The XPLORER user interface is 100% operational in its minimal version which will be used for the proof of concept, the graphic perfections will follow thereafter.

Moreover, despite the remaining unknowns, we believe we can proceed with the first internal tests of the SWAP as soon as the overall development has reached around 70% progress.
