When people first start gambling, people think this is just a game, but over time it becomes a habit and leads to dependence. If addicted to gambling, players will constantly pursue bets leading to losses, extracting available money, even stealing, and cheating to get money to satisfy addiction. Regularly plan to get more gambling money, such as lying to family or acquaintances to borrow money to gamble. When the loss is extreme, family and friends stay away from the creditor to come to them. They can be psychologically unstable, sometimes leading to suicidal thoughts.
That could be worst and last thing that may actually happen to them , they will lead to suicide or they will lost their minds. When a person get addicted to something he will never stop and will keep on trying and trying just to raise fund and just to satisfy his needs in gambling, when there are no ways, it could lead to addiction and that would be the fall for them.
Yes, Gambling addiction can have severe and long-lasting consequences for them: they will lose their relationships, be less productive, their health deteriorate over the years, and financial problems like bankruptcy can happen. Related to the law, the worst end is the attempt to commit suicide.
The causes of gambling addiction can be the result of a combination of biochemical, genetic, and environmental factors. In addition, they may be lured into gambling.

That's the worse thing to happen, committing suicide as a result of having that kind of addiction and nothing left, but a ruined life and relationship with people who care about you before.

Either you become a criminal or taking your own life to escape with the burden of getting addicted,
things that madness can take you if you engage too much with gambling.
