So off topic alert.. (what else is new with my posts. Hey I got to keep this here famous thread entertaining for the lurkers.
29K for what seems like the past million years (in crypto time anyway...apologies for naughty word, Jay) is just not cutting it for excitement around this here neighborhood.)
ANYWAY...
So making sliding glass doors (Lexan actually, same effect) for my kitchen open style cabinet/ shelving. I'm sick of cat dander/dust settling on all pots, pans and stored kitchenware, etc.
This project is making me realize how ridiculously cattywampus this ancient house is. I don't think there is a right angle that exists in this 1932 vintage structure.
So the doors hang on wheels that run in a track mounted under the countertop.
Here is a pic of the two brackets I fabricated for the guiding slots the doors ride in on the bottom, that are mounted to the floor, 4 feet apart.

Yes, you may well ask "why the fuck is one taller than the other?" (by one inch actually).
Well that's because my galley style kitchen floor slopes 1 inch over 4 feet.
Yes I know, the builders of this place were fucking morons...
bollocks! I forgot
its Sunday. I did not make
a Haiku...Oh well....
(oh wait, maybe I did)
