Money lost in gambling can't be recovered, no matter how hard you try, instead you will have more losses. The best thing is that no matter how big that you haves lost for that day,it is better that you quit the game and play the next day. This is the only way to stop your losses or prevent you from losing more. Gamble is all about luck and when you keep on losing, you should know that you are not on your lucky moment, that is why you need to quit and player again some other time. When you are not greedy and see losses as part of gambling, this will help you not to chase your losses and to gamble with only the money that you can afford to loss.
If you've lost 100 and then you've won 200, wouldn't that mean that you've recovered your losses? Yes, quitting is a the right thing to do but are you really a gambler if you let huge losses make you quit playing when you know that you can still play and that you don't mind losing the money? You don't know how a gambler's mind work not until you yourself have gambled. As much as I believe what you say to be true, I think that it doesn't really apply to people who gamble or you might not even be able to say that to someone who gambles.

But it will be challenging to recover our previous losses, and whether we have to use new money, we can recover those losses.
That's the point of gambling, your challenging the chances itself, it just so happens that there's a goal which is recovering the losses you've got.
