Manchester United have started the season on a winning streak. They managed to earn 3 points. However, I am not happy with Manchester United's performance in this match. Manchester United were very lucky so they managed to win this match. However, Manchester United's overall performance in the entire match was not good. I had higher expectations from this group of ten Hag.
Most of the top clubs, which everyone believes might end up winning the league this season, performed well in their first match except Manchester United. I was just disappointed with the way Manchester United played yesterday, the goal they scored was just luck. I was expecting Manchester United to perform better because they were hyped before the match started, and I was even expecting them to win with a wide goal margin. Manchester United have to improve their performance or they might end up ending the season in a position they didn’t expect.
In 90 minutes, Manchester United's players were able to make a total of 15 shots. Out of this there were only 3 shots on target. On the other hand, Wolves players made 23 shots, of which 6 shots were on target. Manchester United's defense was very strong in this match. Varane, Bissaka and Shaw all put in excellent performances. Goalkeeper Onana also made some great saves.
Manchester United's goalkeeper performed well in the match, if not for their goalkeeper, I am sure Manchester United would have lost the match because the Wolves performance was nice in yesterday’s match, their performance was better than Manchester United’s own, but they couldn’t score any goals and wasted all the opportunities that they had.
