They say that Manchester did not deserve fully the win but I think in the end it is not important who create more chances in the game and who keeps playing better,important is which of the team nets the three points from every single game.It is a good start for Manchester United to get the three points as it gives the team a sense of confidence in the upcoming encounters and honestly I liked they way they played yesterday night despite many people saying they did not play that well,let's not forget it was the first game of the tournament and most likely they played cautiously in order to get the 3 points in the end.
Both opinions are still acceptable, as you said the final target is to collect 3 points but they highlighted Manchester United's performance in this match which did not meet expectations maybe Manchester should play better because the opponent is Wolves mean it's not an equal opponent, but in fact Wolves can control the match even though they only played away it's just that Wolves have not been lucky because several opportunities failed to convert into goals, based on my observations at least Wolves can score 2 goals. We will understand if the opponent is Arsenal or even Manchester City who have an equivalent squad.
Indeed, as a whole, we cannot take one sample match to determine all future matches, we have to give them time to have a few more games moreover they have new players who need adjustments/adaptation. Manchester United have another game next week against Tottenham so here we can compare their performance against other strong teams.
