Being a first game of the season we can not agree though but technically speaking Manchester united played as an average team playing against a stronger opponent, the only shot on target they had was that which brought about their winning goal (a header), supposing wolves had made good use of their attempts converting those multiple chances to 2 or more goals I don't think anyone would be here saying we shouldn't conclude yet about Manchester united performance being poor, cause obviously they performed poorly and if their lapses ain't quickly covered within the midfield then UTD may be heading for a bad season .
