Yesterday was a lucky day for the Red devils for them to win Wolves in the match, because wolves put in an impressive performance but they couldn't break the deadlock as Onana put a stop to their goals. Wolves wasn't lucky enough that was why they couldn't draw the match.
I wouldn't say that Manchester United performed brilliantly because I was expecting to see them score more goals than just one but to my greatest surprise, they didn't play like those that wants to score more goals. Manchester United needs a good striking force so that scoring goals wouldn't be a problem. I see a very strong defence that Eric Hag has built.
I watched the game and I was disappointed with the red devils performance and five players that underperformed were Mount, Fernandez, Garnacho, Antony and Rashford. Many times Mount was going out of position, making the midfield porous and over labouring Casemiro. Fernandez also had a bad day, it was when Erikson game on that I saw a little of his magic as he was part of the build up that led to the goal. Garnacho flopped completely, he couldn't execute one take on, loses the ball everytime he gets it.
Onana did very well to keep United in the game, AWB was also fantastic with his runs, blocks and slides and also assisted in setting up the goal. United were just lucky to win the game, they really need to improve their performance in their next game.
What really annoyed me in the Man United vs Wolves match was because Man United's midfield and attack line really couldn't play their roles as usual. They seemed to lose confidence in the match. Mount and Garnacho both of these players seem to have lost their concentration a bit. Because well a few times they can be passed easily. And in this match, André Onana was really tested very hard. I hope Erik Ten Heg can improve the club's performance as soon as possible. Because in the next match I think it will be more difficult, namely Man United will face Tottenham. Even though Tottenham have been left by H. Kane but in yesterday's match I think Tottenham still showed the sharpness of their attack. They were held to a draw by Brentford. But overall Tottenham are really playing very well. So Man United must be well prepared so they don't lose.
