I think this is one of the solutions that they can do in terms of avoiding or reducing the level of addiction in it, but can they put aside their selfish feelings? I think maybe this is quite difficult for those who are used to gambling and they have to force themselves a little to add some other activities to save them from some big losses for the umpteenth time. And I've also said this before, it's necessary to add some other activities in our daily lives so that our brains and minds are a little distracted. If you get used to some of these new habits and you feel that they are very enjoyable, well if you are already in this position then I think it is very likely that you will be able to get out of gambling addiction.
But it's true as you said, everything comes back to each person, if you really want to stop then you will do anything including various ways that allow you to get out of gambling.
because we are here discussing being a responsible gambler, so keeping yourself productive is the best solution to avoid the possibility of becoming a gambling addict, when you have other activities, your focus will be divided into several parts so that when you forget the time while gambling, automatically that activity will become your shield.  doing work-outs, hobbies or doing work is the best way to fill your busy life amidst the influence of gambling, and don't forget to continue to hone your money management skills in gambling, no one passes above that.

Yup, having that balance will divert your attentions and will help you not to really get into a deep engagement with gambling, unlike if you don't have any other activities your mindset is all focused on what you need to do or what strategy you should have to win from each gambling session that you participate with.

Being responsible means that you can control both your time and money, with that capabilities you can enjoy but yet lessen the chance of losing a lot.
