Only people who can still maintain self-control can survive gambling and are not affected by anything related to gambling. They can still enjoy the fun they get from gambling and don't think about getting a win from gambling and it's better just to enjoy the gambling game. If you are included in the list of those people, you are really lucky because you can control yourself well because you play gambling just for fun and don't make money from gambling. The mindset of wanting to win must be changed immediately before they become addicted to gambling which is difficult to cure.
Well, there could be some exceptions as well. Even though I do not gamble that much recently, I started to gamble regularly, especially on Sportsbet. I also tend to claim whenever I see promotions. It's easy to control yourself when you only place bets on sports. Last week I had some good wins but lost them all in English premier league matches.
If you do not have options to place a bet immediately to recover your loss, you are unlikely to make a wrong decision. Usually, when we place bets to recover our previous losses, we do not have enough time to think about whether it's a good choice. But you have time to think before you place a bet on sports.
I agree to that, if you quickly try to recover your losses the chance of not analysing well may happen and instead of recovering your money it may turn to another loss since you are not doing your research when placing a bet, it's always good to have a clear mindset before you place your pick and bet your money.
Accepting your defeats will help you to pause awhile and re-assess your strategy. If you can practice that, your chance is better than blindly place a bet and just hope for some luck to back you up.
