Why they call it addiction is simply because one is not able to stop it.If you are addicted to gambling,you cannot win one time and think you can just stop it like that,you will always have that believe that if you play again,you will still win,they might still allow you to win the second time,but I think the third time might just be a disappointment for you if you play it.You will keep on playing it expecting that you will certainly win,but the winning might not just come again,you will waste your money till you exhaust it.I have seen people win big amount of money through gambling,and they still ended up wasting all of them on gambling,because human being cannot be satisfied with what they have,we always want more.If learning were to be possible,I don't think people would gamble again,but it is not just possible,and that is why they call it addiction.
We cannot win continuously from gambling and there will be times when the casino will let you win but it may be a small victory. Meanwhile, after you have won some money if you are still gambling, it is time for the casino to take all your winnings and include all your remaining balance. That happens to many people who don't see it as a loss but instead deposit more money to try to recover from the loss. The casinos love to see people depositing some money again because it is time for the casinos to take their money again like before. And if people can quit after winning some money, that's to their advantage because they can save themselves from the losses that can come after that. And that's what we have to do if we win some money and don't think about trying to get more wins.
