To be Frank Chelsea has a chance to qualify for the next year Champions league, because they are not playing any European competitions this season, their focus should be the league cups and premier league games. They have many chances to fight for the champions league spot. Because Manchester city, man utd , Newcastle and Arsenal Will be playing many games than Chelsea this this season, Chelsea should be thinking on how to make the top Four at the end of the season.
Can't vividly recall the year, Jose Mourinho had a poor season with blues and Chelsea was found below European Competition position on the Premier League Table.
Antonio Conte was appointed and he led that squad used by Jose Mourinho to win the Premier League that very season. Conte's Chelsea squad was hazardous, you don't even stand a chance against him. If I can recall correctly, he won both fixtures against Pep Guardiola that same season.
Do they have what it takes to win the Premier League now? If we're to rate from the top to bottom, I'm no so certain of Mauricio Pochetino.
With Tottenham Hotspur, he led them to a level where they should have won the Premier League but they failed to do so. With blue's right now, I'm not convinced with recent improvement with the midfielder's, I'll move on to say they don't have a natural central attacking number nine striker. All the names you'll want to call are not good enough. I'll say they'll get themselves in the top four but winning the Premier League? NO!
I'm still focused on Manchester United and Arsenal. Manchester United needs the signature of Amrabat done. Arsenal right now needs to get Jurim Timber replacement since he'll be out of the season. ( Saddens me he'll be off this way. )
