I see the loss of the figure of Kevin De Bruyne greatly affecting the performance of the Manchester City team, their front line is not well organized and there is not enough supply of balls for strikers, this is dangerous for Man City in the next match because they will lose Kevin De Bruyne who is absent for 6 months due to injury.
You are right, so far Kevin De Bruyne role has been very important in building Manchester City's attack. He has been likened to the brain of an attacker who can read the opponent's gap, but now Manchester City losing him for several months is a bad sign. In my opinion, it is very difficult to replace the role of Kevin De Bruyne, therefore Pep Guardiola must think hard to find other options. Especially after losing Gundogan when he was still at Manchester City he could replace Kevin De Bruyne.
I dont know what player can currently replace him on that position with the similar quality. He has been the brains behind a lot of attacks of Man City in the previous season and without him this is gonna cause problems. We seen already against Sevilla that there were many problems in getting that direct ball for the goal.
Judging by the kind of quality Kelvin De Bruyne brings to the Manchester City side whenever he's playing, there's no doubt that his creativity in the attacking of Manchester City wouldn't be greatly missed.
Against Sevilla yesterday, City struggled to create goalscoring chances and that's because De Bruyne wasn't on the pitch. Pep Guardiola I know isn't a novice to this kind of issues and I know he'll find the perfect style that'll keep his City side going once again
Very much agree with you, I watched a small part of the match between Manchester city and Sevilla yesterday and for the first time, i feared that Manchester city would lose the match, and not even to a big club, but to a small club as Sevilla, but then, was a bit relieved when later in the day, i discovered that Manchester city later won through penalties, goes a long way to prove that the absence of one key player in a team can indeed, have a great negative impact on that team..
Anyways, we need not fret, like you said, The coach< pep Guardiola is a professional, i also believe he knows what to do to fix his team, he know who the right replacement for Kelvin is, so lets hope all will be done and Manchester city will have a better play in their next game against Newcastle < if i am not mistaken.
