The Manchester United vs Tottenham and Manchester vs Newcastle United matches are the games of the weekend that I look forward to. You might want to right off Tottenham because of the departure of Harry and also the inexperienced manager that's still trying to put his team together. Not forgetting the injury list which is a major concern but I'm also not impressed with Manchester United performance against Wolves as they managed to win the game and I believe they are far from their best. While the odds might look to be in their favour I won't be surprised if the draw or lose the game against spurs.
The Manchester City vs Newcastle game is another interesting game. The EPL champion started their campaign on a winning note and same with the Magpies who made a huge statement that they are title contenders by beating Aston villa 5 - 1. Last season on both encounters the Citizens won one and drew, this time around maybe Newcastle United could pull some surprises. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Well, these two matches (Man City vs Newcastle & Man United vs Tottenham) are two big matches which will definitely be the most interesting to watch on Matchday 2 this season. And I think these two fights are actually a little more difficult to predict. Because Man City and Newcastle both started the season with big wins. And Man United actually started with a slightly poor performance but they were lucky to still win with a score of 1-0 against Wolves. Meanwhile, Tottenham are playing well, but we are no longer surprised by Brentford, who has always been able to contain and overcome the big clubs in the Premier League. So the draw score that was produced in the Tottenham vs Brentford match was a result that was not surprising. For my prediction for the Man United vs Tottenham match, I will bet on Tottenham. Well this is a slightly risky choice. But I'm really not sure about Man United's performance at the moment. They played well but their attack was really problematic. The chemistry between the players there seems to have not been fully established.
