Endo is 30 years old and for a support player is a solid age, so I think the transfer is partly out of desperation, because Liverpool need a support player urgently and decided to take the best that was and 19 million for such a player is a lot, but Endo was in the seasons 20\21 and 21\22 was the first in the Bundesliga. Endo is also good in one-on-one battles at the top, which is important now, because there are few people who can score with their head except Van Dijk.
