If someone claimed they have the right strategy for gambling and winning more times than losing, why can't they use the strategy for themselves and change their lives first?

They are much more likely to profit, then share it with a close knit group of friends and family. People that are clever enough to come up with such a strategy will know that the more people who are doing it, the quicker it is likely to be blocked or the profits will reduced to zero for everyone. You should avoid anyone who claims that they are going to share secrets with you, because they likely have a different agenda or may be trying to trick you into betting on a new website which will take your money.
