~snip~
Anyone looking to avenge their losses is wasting their time, any money that we deposit at a casino needs to be considered lost from the moment it gets there, if you have this mentality then once that money disappears from your balance it will have no effect on your mentality and in your ability to gamble, however gamblers very rarely think like this and because of this they suffer some extreme emotions if their losses are too high, and since they cannot tolerate feeling this way they decide to chase their losses and lose even more money during their attempts to recover that money.
It is true that this mentality is rare but at the same time it is the most realistic one, as much as I do indeed like to gamble this does not blind me from the truth, over the long term I have no chances at all of earning any money unless I got lucky and won a massive jackpot, and knowing how unlucky I am I know this will never happen, so from the beginning I know that any money I deposit at any casino is money I will never see again, and that is why when I suffer some losses I am not really affected by it.
Rarely do people have that kind of mentality because most gamblers want to get big wins playing gambling. But unfortunately, instead of getting a big win, they got a loss which ended up losing all their money. And if they still don't realize that they have lost too much but instead deposit more money to try to recover from their losses, they will only lose more and still not realize it. And even though we think that it is because of a mistake we made that we fail to achieve a big win, it is a failure because we cannot control ourselves properly. If we have experienced a losing streak, we should rest, and it would be even better if we could stop gambling for a while.
