i think Robert Anton Wilson (fiction author) said that it was possible to ascribe meaning to any random pattern of number if:

• one really applies their imagination
• one really wants to believe something irrespective of whether the pattern is meaningful

both types of people are a danger to themselves, and the first type particularly a danger to others
