I don’t think this is still happening today as the existence of LGBTQ+ people has already been accepted by the community. Though there are still some few negative treatments made by other people, but most of them have already been widely accepted as part of a human gender so there’s no reason that they will get the same humiliation like before. If ever harassment is still observed, perhaps the problem is not in them, but those irresponsible gamblers around that are narrow minded and have no sense of acceptance.
