That's a lot of injuries to key Chelsea players and this is likely going to affect the team's performance in their next game having got this number of players injured who are yet to recover. Starting up the season with so many injuries has the possibility of denying them the top 4 spots, looking at how competitive it was last season. It is needful for the coach to step up his game to get Chelsea into the promised Land.

To some extents; i think the injuries are something that the Chelsea coach should have expected because it is a known fact that the injured players are injury prone (bar Nkunku, Badiashile and Chukweumeka) and are not reliable too. But instead the ownership has spent without addressing the key issue.

I still believe that Pochetino will do a good job; and should yes make use of the depth of players available at his disposal.
Currently, Chelsea's attack power is completely blunt. And actually Chelsea have Lukaku who also still hasn't managed to get a new club. Chelsea intend to let him go and well many clubs want to get Lukaku. Including the latest is AS Roma which has shown its interest in getting Lukaku. So I thought wouldn't it be great if for a while Lukaku was retained and played to replace the injured Nkunku. However, a very critical situation at the Chelsea club at the moment is the striker crisis. Because actually Chelsea still has a pretty good performance. But after Nkunku got injured this club lost its sharpness of attack. To be honest, even though I have high hopes for the coach, Mauricio Pochettino. But he won't be able to do much if the club is still experiencing a striker crisis. And now the transfer market is only 1 week away. So I don't think this club has enough time to get another quality striker. Somehow I feel the club should give Lukaku a chance. than the club must look for another striker who may not be better than Lukaku.
