In the first match of La Liga, Barcelona could not secure the victory despite a great effort, the match was a draw, then in the second match, they finally managed to score two goals after 80 minutes to secure the victory that the team desperately needed.
That means Xavi still hasn't found the right scheme to play against a total defensive team and he needs a solution when strikers like Lewandowski can't score. In the second week of the match at Camp Nou, Xavi also found it difficult to keep up with the Cadiz defense which was so solid and fortunately they had Gundogan who was able to provide a cross for Pedri which was completed into a goal.
Barcelona won this match, but to tell the truth, Barcelona is always the favorite in the matches played at the Camp Nou. Cadiz was already a team that was not a favorite against Barcelona. I don't think this win came as a surprise. I expected them to score more goals, but the match ended 2-0. The score doesn't matter for now, as 3 points are important.
There are many weaknesses that Xavi needs to fix and they had quite a hard time in the previous two matches to be able to score goals because they faced a team that defended by relying on tight pressing. Even eventually though Barcelona were able to get full points against Cadiz, in my opinion there are many things that need to be fixed, especially when facing a team that is no the favorite and they should be able to win the match with a much bigger score
