Real Madrid and Barcelona will still be two strongest competitors for La Liga title and they will compete directly to take the trophy. Real Madrid will focus more on La Liga after losing it to Barcelona in the past season because of so much concentration for Champions League as well as impacts from World Cup 2022 in the last winter. Before the break by World Cup 2022, Real Madrid and Barcelona were very closely with each other on La Liga ranking table. After that tournament, Real Madrid had bad streak and quickly gave up their race with Barcelona.
Maybe Barcelona will focus more on Champions League as they failed early in the last season and it will be good chance for Real Madrid as they still have good quality squad. If Xavi and Barcelona won't be carefull and give enough resource for La Liga, they will lose the crown to Real Madrid.
I would guess that they will try their best but they do lack a striker and now also a goalkeeper as well. Which means that they are not going to be as good as people think they will be. I mean Barcelona is not doing that great neither, they didn't get worldstar's or anything, but at least they do have a proper goalkeeper and a striker, which is one more than what Madrid has.
I already wagered that Barcelona will win this season, I am not sure if I will be right or not but that is the thing I felt at the start of the season and looks like I am not going to be wrong so far, Barcelona is playing a better football if you ask me even though Real won their games. This type of system will not be sustainable for them on the long run.
