Neymar has gone to the saudi league and maybe after this Verrati will also leave so that there will be fewer senior players left at PSG. This week PSG will face Lens and to be honest this time I feel they will again find it difficult to win this match, even though PSG are the hosts, Lens is still their competitor at the top of last season's standings. But I still hope they can secure full points at home and allow Luis Enrique to at least take a breath of fresh air for a while.

Some more negative news is that Real Madrid wants to make a final offer shortly before the transfer market closes because that doesn't give PSG a lot of room for negotiation. If this is true, there is still a chance that PSG will not nominate Mbappe for the game against Lens and if they do, Mbappe wouldn't dare to play his best and perhaps risk an injury. I think we won't have a final answer until the very last minute of this transfer period has passed. For PSG Mbappe is a critical player as they won't get any better obviously without him. But maybe it's better for them to finally have an answer to all of this then to be in the headlines every single day. But the tactical considerations by Real Madrid make sense. PSG would have to make a decision whether they take a big loss next year or go for the money this year and put a full stop to this story.
