I must have learned to gamble when I was in high school. I just remembered that I was very addicted to gambling because I always won at that time. The bets were small because I was still in high school, but for me at that time it was a big deal. But of course you don't always win at gambling. That's where I learned to steal money from my parents just to gamble and my parents found out about it so they scolded me and told me that gambling is bad for children. I don't remember the others but when I was scolded that's when I stopped gambling.
It's fun and exciting, but it has bad effects when you get addicted to gambling, but of course I was still young then, now I can control myself.
It was a good experience from your gambling case, but of course you need to learn something from there and not repeat the same mistakes again. Gambling addiction is a condition where you may fail to balance your spending on gambling and your income, this is clearly bad financially so that in the end you will do silly things like steal to fulfill your gambling desires.
Some gamblers also have the same problem, but if you manage to balance it then you may have less to chase after winning than to have fun. In the end gambling will be bad if the gambler fails to be responsible for his gambling, while conversely you will not have a bad impact if you are a responsible gambler.
