If Kepa is indeed a good goalkeeper, it looks like there will be a loan extension later or Kepa will be bought by Real Madrid, considering that his loan period is only one season.
I also understand that Kepa is a goalkeeper who is quite reliable plus he was also one of Chelsea's mainstay goalkeepers while joining there but it would be a shame if later Kepa had to leave when his contract with Real Madrid expired.
The outcome if that decision will be based on the keeper performance while he is at lian in Real Madrid and from the look of the thing, I think Kepa has already established a firm in Real Madrid and it may end up being just a loan extension just to have the keeper with the club for this season, and if he will be considered for signing, that will come after the current season.
