Retiring and becoming a coach is the right choice I think, his contract will end on 30 June 2025 and Ronaldo will be 40 years old. The impact and influence exerted by him has been proven, I think Ronaldo is more influential in the media than Leonel Messi.

Reportedly Ronaldo once made a statement that he would spend the rest of his time at Sporting, where he grew up in football. I think he will retire there, this is also not ruled out.
It would be a good option for any professional footballer and I also hope that Ronaldo will take this opportunity when he retires. If you look at Ronaldo's way of taking care of his fitness, it is not impossible that at the age of 40 he can still play in the Saudi Arabian league because this league does not really need speed. On the other hand the option as you mentioned is also likely to occur because Sporting Lisbon is a club that has a big role in making Ronaldo's career and this is where Ronaldo's career started to become the world football star he is now.

Speculation about Ronaldo's future after his contract expires is still quite wild and before he decided to move to Saudi Arabia not many parties predicted this for various reasons. So let's wait and see what steps Ronaldo will take after his contract ends at Al-Nassr because there are still a few more seasons for him to stay or take steps to retire.
I think cristiano ronaldo will retire from saudi arabia league. Because I don't see any chance of coming to any European club with the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, the Saudi league will become very competitive within a few seasons.

Yes basically, the Saudi League and the Portuguese League at least the Portuguese League has higher pressure and yes, if we consider Ronaldo age then it seems very unlikely that Ronaldo will play at Sporting. Unless, if Ronaldo leaves Al Nassr in the next season and Ronaldo age is still 39 years old but still, at that age it is difficult for Sporting to let Ronaldo play. Because after all, playing in Al Nassr even though the competition is still fairly easy, but in fact Ronaldo still cannot make Al Nassr consistent to win. So yes, it is very unlikely that Ronaldo will return to Sporting because it seems, Ronaldo will really retire right at the age of 40 when his contract expires at Al Nassr.
