It's really funny to see the type of weird views some people of of the world and the things that are happening in it. OP basically says that "because US supposedly owns a lot of gold, creation of an alternative payment system is impossible". It is even funnier when you look at the name of this forum and realize that it is a Bitcoin forum, a place where we discuss "an alternative payment system"

In any case, dedollarisation is happening whether some people or even US itself accepts it or not. It didn't start last year and it won't mature soon but it is happening.
