If Vinicius is sentenced to be sidelined for a long period of time it will make Ancelotti furious, losing the Brazilian winger would certainly mess up the situation in the Madrid camp because of the lack of options. But I think it is possible that Ancelotti will change the position of some of his players, for example bringing Valverde into that position and re-trusting the midfield to Modric-Kroos, or with some other experiments. However, if we return to hunt for additional players, I think it is still open, but it seems that there are no more quality stock players available on the market.
I think Ancelotti will only adjust the strategy and formation of his players while Vinicius is injured. Ancelotti has confirmed that Real Madrid have no plans of signing any new players in the remainder of the current transfer window, in fact he is 100% sure about that. So I don't expect much of a change in Real Madrid's plans regarding the transfer window, but I do expect Vinicius' injury to be less serious than first thought even if he has to miss a few games.
In the match against Celta Vigo, Ancelotti tried to play Rodrygo on the left wing which in fact produced good results. Rodrygo can do well there so I really believe Ancelotti will not have too much trouble adjusting his game plan next week. Federico Valverde and Rodrygo can be paired as two wingers, while Bellingham will still occupy an attacking midfielder position. That's what I'm thinking right now.
