The start of this season did look so difficult for Manchester United, their performance was far from what many people expected after being very active in the transfer market, but in fact their performance was still far from good.
But even so, we cannot judge Ten Hag that he has failed, all of that needs a process, remind you when Teh Hag first arrived last season, there were so many changes that he made for the development of Manchester United.
I think we only need watts to really see Manchester United get to their best performance under Erik Ten Hag.
Manchester United is not one of them and even several other big clubs that have spent a lot of money in the current transfer market have not found their best form either. Chelsea, for example, has spent a lot of money in the transfer market, but the results in several previous matches have been beyond expectations and when compared to Manchester United, Chelsea has spent far more money. It's still too early to say Ten Hak failed because it's only been a few matches and last season is an illustration of how they played quite unstable at the start of the league, but slowly their performance is getting better.

The new striker they bought has also not played due to injury and maybe there will be surprises for other players who will come to Manchester United. So it takes a few more matches to see what Manchester United is capable of, whether Ten Hak fails or can actually present several titles this season for Manchester United.

I think what is also important is to see Manchester United's absolute performance and with their 75 points last season they were doing good I think. It wasn't impressive, but Manchester United benefitted from many of the toughest competitors to struggle so hard. Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool did so bad that they made it easy for Manchester United to be ahead of them. If the strongest teams in the Premier League perform on a high level, then it would be much harder for Manchester United to finish in the top four. I don't know what they are lacking so far to take their game truly to the next level, but I thought that their team is strong enough to compete with everyone. But a first analysis shows that they almost failed against Wolverhampton, then lost their game against Tottenham and now almost tied a game against Nottingham Forest despite being one man down with almost half an hour to go. I think this isn't what they've been hoping for so far.
