What won Liverpool the game was their performance right after they received the red card and were one man down. I think that was the moment when a lot of people thought that Liverpool is going to be destroyed within the next 20 - 30 minutes. But they survived it and preserved themselves the chance to win the game in the end. If they concede a goal when all the turmoil happened, I think the game is really over. But this way they forced Newcastle to still be cautious and of course it also needs a bit of luck to go home as the winner.
When Van Dijk received the automatic red card, my assumption was immediately negative that it would favor Newcastle, but I was wrong to judge it too quickly. In the second half, Nunez entry saw a lot of difference and Jurgen Klopp put him in the minutes that were really needed, because if you pay attention the Newcastle backline players were more focused on Moh Salah movements so that Nunez was able to move freely. I congratulate him on his tense game, because after playing with 10 men the opposing club should have benefited but it was the opposite.
Also with this result may prove a little too, that Liverpool has a winning mentality and or a good mentality despite getting difficult pressure. Because anyway, in the end Liverpool were able to make two goal in near the end of the match. But maybe, the second goal for Liverpool was a lucky factor too, because the goal was created really in the +90th minute. That way too, Liverpool still keeps its performance in good focus, although the situation is certainly a difficult situation because Liverpool also plays away in the match.
