Merit cycling guy mad other people are getting merits. Oh the horror! Soon people will have merits that made comments about the price of Bitcoin instead of circle jerking other merit sources. What ever will the community do? How will we recover? The damage those merits will do will outlast Bitcoin itself! Take cover!

While I am not against anyone making money with signature campaigns (there seem to be enough campaigns to go around for everyone), do you not see that merits serve as nothing but spam fuel nowadays? Perhaps you actually enjoy scrolling through a sea of stolen Twitter memes and automated, generic AI-prewritten, white-noise garbage?
