The performance of Chelsea is still not getting better even after they hire a new coach and they are rebuilding whole the team. A few hours ago in the EFL Cup, Chelsea was playing against Wimbledon. While Wimbledon is not a strong team to make problems for a team like Chelsea with the investment they had, But the performance of Chelsea in this game was not good at all.
In fact when Chelsea got new owners they spent more than before but unfortunately the performance has not improved yet.
For them a win is a win and the performance doesn't count but considering the odds that they had 1.13 against Wimbledon's 19.60, I expected that they'd literally skin them alive , but no. Instead they were even struggling to recover from the one up against them. Seriously, Pochettino will need to go back to his drawing board and map it a good formation and learn also how to use his players. If not for Enzo's goal that changed the narrative, Chelsea was already headed for penalties because the away side kinda locked their defense and we're ready to see it through. To be honest I wasn't impressed. If they continue like this, they well see themselves getting knocked out.
