I'd suggest to stay away from Ethereum. It's a centrally controlled premined shitcoin that abandoned it's USP the moment it was convenient for the creator. After that, it got worse by spamming and scamming maybe up to millions of people with made-up useless tokens. That's not how crypto is supposed to be.

Back on topic:
If you don't want to run your own node, then why not just use the GUI wallet from https://www.getmonero.org/ and connect to a third party node?
I didn't know that's a possibility. I'll have to look into the differences between GUI wallet and Feather. I quickly checked Feather yesterday, but couldn't find how to import a private key.

Or alternatively, Coinomi (of all places!) has forked Ian Coleman's paged and implemented the same thing. Just enter your seed phrase and select "Monero" from the drop down menu and it will spit out your Monero seed phrase:

Obviously do all this on an airgapped device.
