I also like the limit you put to number of applicants and reports per month to avoid spam, I hope this will be a support to users in some local boards that need merits to rank up in the forum.
You are right, there should be a limit to number of applications per month else people will spam the thread just like they did to Flippone’s merit thread. I can see some low rank members sharing their posts which some are not up to standards. This is a nice step that will surely help Local boards that lack enough merit sources.

I'm sorry, I really had to ask this question. The post links to be shared are they post links of the op(e.g my post links only) or people's post links that they think deserves to be merited? Or both? Because from what I can see on the thread lot of people are dropping links to only their posts which I think is not what hugeblack stated in his thread.
I think you are meant to share other people’s post that you think are worthy of being merited on your local board but i think you can still share a link to your post if you think it’s deserving. If the posts you share are quality enough and have impressed the OP you will also receive merit as a reward for sharing the posts.

I think the members who are sharing their own posts are don’t understand the rules properly because if that’s the case everyone will only be interested in sharing their own posts but if hugeblack considers their applications then i think it’s ok to share you own posts too.
