I believe the Arab football industry is currently developing very well. Ronaldo's arrival brought media and sponsorship traction in and provided a huge flow of money. The latest news due to the arrival of Ronaldo and several big European stars makes SPL have income that has increased by 650%. Even today there are 140 countries that broadcast Arab League broadcasts. This is in contrast to 2022, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced an investment loss of US$11 billion.

This was expected after many players from Europe’s began to join the league during the transfer window. This league will now have more viewership, more sponsorships and a lot of attention from around the world than before. This was what they were getting at from onset, and I think they’re achieving it already. They won’t stop here, I’m sure they’ll want their league to be one of the best in the world, if not the best or second to the European leagues.

After Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ettifaq, now it's Al-Shabab's turn, which also doesn't want to be outdone, to bring in European players and they are getting closer to an agreement with Yannick Carassco from Atletico Madrid. The transfer fee is around 15 million euros and he will be contracted for 3 years. Yannick Carasco is one of the good European players and we will remember the last few seasons for his individual qualities. Now he is 29 years old and in fact he is still quite reliable with Atletico, but now it remains only for Atletico to make a transfer because Al-Shabab has reached a personal agreement with the player.

If Al-Shabab can click this deal, it will be a bonus for them to strengthen their squad more. I don’t know how their current squad is or how strong they are in the SPL, but if Carrasco joins them, they’ll only become stronger than before. Their confidence level will increase and they can have more confidence playing big teams and this is evident to Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr team after he joined them. The competition will be more tougher, competitive and internet to watch than before as new teams keeps signing European players.
