Great article, thanks for sharing it with us @Unijoin! It's a bit of a change from the simple and classical « don’t use Tor in full screen » lol

The part about optimising speed is very interesting.

Just FYI, I think there's a tiny typo in the first line "won" should be "own" I guess.

While we're on the subject, don't you think you could gain even more users on Unijoin.io by offering a javascript-free version of the onion website ? I know that many Tor users may put javascript.enabled on "False" in about:config. I know that each website has his requirements, I am not well informed about that, I am just curious

In your article you are saying that people should use VPN and Tor together to ''amplify'' Tor, and I am not sure this is a good idea for everyone.
That is something that is NOT recommended by some security experts, and this is even confirmed on Tor website:

Generally speaking, we don't recommend using a VPN with Tor unless you're an advanced user who knows how to configure both in a way that doesn't compromise your privacy.

you really need to have absolute trust in the VPN provider to do this, but in some countries it's better to have a VPN before Tor, than Tor on its own only I guess. I mean, I can easily imagine some places on earth where some internet or data providers shouldn't know that you are using Tor network

Thanks a bunch for checking out the article and sharing your thoughts! We're glad you found the change from the usual Tor advice refreshing – we figured we'd throw in a twist.

Appreciate the heads-up on the typo; we'll get that sorted out right away.

As for a javascript-free version of the onion website on Unijoin.io, it's on our list. While we're focusing on a few other things at the moment, your suggestion is definitely something we're considering.

About not using Tor in full screen: the Tor Team managed to fix it so that when you go full screen, your computer's screen stays unfulfilled. Nonetheless, we continue to recommend refraining from using the Tor Browser in full screen.
