It's true this was a panic buy from manchester united and I don't think we can fully criticize Erik ten hag's decision to sign Reguilon. That is much better than not getting a replacement for Luke Shaw when the competition is running early and if Erik ten hag wants to replace one of his players as a left back, of course it will increase the risk in every game. Manchester United is not used to being like Real Madrid, which can arrange its players when needed to fill empty positions. So whether Reguilon is a bad buy or not, I think Erik ten Hag has his own assessment and we'll see how things develop with Manchester United.
Agreed, because if you look at Man United's buying strategy this season despite having a limited budget, Erik Ten Hag seems to be making panic purchases of his players. Mason Mount, who has not made a significant appearance, Hojlund also suffered an injury when Man United needed his abilities. Varane and Luke Shaw are clearly absent. Then what about Man United's schedule, which is increasingly demanding points? plus the UCL schedule against the club which is clearly still not the time to face Bayern Munich with the current composition which is much more stable.
