With the recent performances of Newcastle United over the last 12 months, I don't think they're the dark horses in a group that comprises Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan. Though when talking about the history of the UEFA Champions League competition, the three teams that are grouped with Newcastle has a better records than the Magpies but Newcastle's current form is better than Borussia Dortmund.
It is the most difficult group of the competition but I'm backing Newcastle to qualify from the group.
let's see how Eddie Howe can handle the pressure that is on his squad after joining the group of death in the group phase. PSG and AC Milan are favorites to qualify for the next round, but before that this is just a mere prediction which may not necessarily come true. Even other teams will not think Newcastle United is weak because they have quality players who are good enough to compete in the Champions League this season.
Dortmund maybe they have lost their best strength this season and that is their weak point after Bellingham left. I think Dortmund and Newcastle United are quite equal in strength but with PSG or AC Milan I think they are stronger than Newcastle United or Dortmund.
