I have to disagree with this. Addiction isn't something you can control or choose to have it or not. Anyone is prone to addiction but on different levels. It depends on how vulnerable the person in question is. Everyone know that gambling is not always profitable and that the chances of losing are higher than those of losing but they keep playing till they become addicts. Knowing the risks doesn't exempt you from becoming an addict.
In this scenario, vulnerability occurs as the number of gamblers who are addicted to gambling increases by the day. We're willing to accept anything in the system, but being able to manage ourselves will undoubtedly save us from further insignificant losses. Addiction exists in the region, and numerous gamblers face the prospect of being addicted to gambling while they are desperate to gamble. Responsible gambling should be the first thing that comes to mind, yet most gamblers always go down the wrong route and afterwards regret their actions.
